Shipshape IT adds Life Insurance to its growing list of employee benefits.

October 01, 2015

Adding to our benefit-rich full-time employee packages, Shipshape IT is proud to announce we are adding Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment plans from Met Life for all full time employees. The goal is to offer employees a financial safety net for a fixed period of time. The Basic Life Insurance plan provides foundational protection that helps meet a portion of a family’s income needs in the event of a premature death. The Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) is an Employer-paid low-cost coverage that pays for a covered accident that results in a loss of life, speech, hearing or sight, paralysis and other losses offering employees more ways to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Brian Vaughn, President and Chief Operations Officer shared, “In addition to a rewarding work environment, todays employees heavily weigh benefits packages in their job selection. Last year we added Guardian Life’s Short Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance for all full-time staff. Our goal is to continue to evolve and offer a more compelling benefits package than my competitor.”
